Rimb

About Rimb

Rimb is a robotics training-data company that turns raw egocentric and robot footage into rights-cleared, training-ready episodes for robotics foundation-model labs and humanoid OEMs. Every episode ships with object tracks, hand poses, action-aligned language labels, and a per-episode consent and provenance packet, in the format your model already trains on: RLDS, LeRobot, HDF5, or WebDataset.

What we do

Robot learning teams spend months building data pipelines before their models see a single useful demonstration. Rimb removes that step. You send us raw footage, or we help you collect it, and we return episodes your training stack can consume directly.

Our pipeline has four stages:

  1. Capture. Raw egocentric video, teleoperation recordings, or robot logs, from your fleet or from our collection network.
  2. Structure. Object tracks, temporal segments, state-change labels, 21-keypoint hand poses, and action-aligned language.
  3. Review. Human QA against explicit rejection criteria. Episodes that fail do not ship.
  4. Deliver. RLDS, LeRobot, HDF5, or WebDataset, with a consent and provenance packet attached to every episode.

Rights-cleared by default

Every episode we deliver carries documented consent and provenance. That matters under the EU AI Act (Article 10 data-governance obligations apply to high-risk systems from August 2, 2026) and under US biometric statutes such as Illinois BIPA and the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act. We are not a law firm and this is not legal advice, but we build our datasets so your counsel has answers instead of questions.

The company

Rimb was founded in 2026 by a four-person team spanning robotics engineering, machine-learning infrastructure, large-scale data operations, and go-to-market. We are an early-stage company and we say so plainly: no invented customer logos, no inflated claims. What we show on this site, including the published sample episode, is real product output.
