Delete Your Rimb Account

The fastest way is self-service, no email needed:

1. In the Rimb app: tap your profile to open the account panel, choose Delete account, and confirm. The app shows what will be removed before you confirm.
2. On the web: sign in at rimb.dev, open Settings, and choose Delete account.

If you can no longer sign in, email privacy@rimb.dev from the email address associated with your Rimb account, with the subject line “Data deletion request”. We may contact you to verify your identity before processing the request, to make sure we only delete data for the account's owner.

Once your request is verified, we delete the personal data tied to your account:

• Your account profile: name, email address, and login credentials.
• Contact information and account settings.
• The video contributions you submitted, together with their associated metadata, unless we are required or entitled to retain them (see below).

Some data may be kept after deletion where we have a legal basis to do so:

• Records we are legally required to keep, for example transaction and tax records for any contributor payments made to you.
• Information needed to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
• Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you and is no longer linked to your account.

Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 90 days after deletion (to allow for accidental-deletion recovery), after which it is purged as backups are rotated out. Data we are legally required to retain is kept only for as long as the law requires.
